A Confucian ceremony that also includes local Shaman women.  The ceremony takes place on Taebaek Mountain in Taebaek, South Korea on Foundation Day in October.  The ceremony is held to pay tribute to the founder of Korea, Dangun and is also referred to as the “Opening of the Sky” ceremony.  These pictures are taken from two different years, so in some pictures there are more people than in others.
